What is a good odor absorber or deodorizer for a musty closet smell is one of the most often asked questions on this blog. Musty closest needs an odor absorber, damp closet needs a moisture absorber. They are very different in use.
For a musty closet use a Fridge It odor absorbers for large odor elimination or and Innofresh activated charcoal odor absorber for smaller odor problems. It will absorbs the odors in the air for up to 4 to 6 months.

Damp closet use Damp Rid or similar product that can absorb the moisture, it will not do as much for odor control, but works for taking moisture out of the air. A good odor absorber is one that get the musty smell controlled and eliminated in your closet. I prefer fragrance free, but some prefer a short term solution like a spray.
