When odors become a nuisance, it is time to find out why. Odor creates an early warning system that alerts the nose that something going on around you is not right and begins to irritate your nose, sending signals to the brain and creates a pain point with odor. Once you know the what, then the question can be searched on ”how” do I get rid of the specific odor? Or if you can get even more specific: How to I get rid of the odor in my refrigerator? Or even more specific in detail like, how do I get rid of the onion odor in my ice maker in the freezer. The more specific you can be the better the solution will be.
This leads to the “who” of odors. Who should I trust and choose to fix my problem. Is is a search that leads you to a product like an odor absorber? What is the product about? Is it environmentally friendly? Can it really fix the problem and keep it solved in the longterm. Read the label, is the product non toxic? Is it fragrance free or scented. What are the warnings.

What is a good odor absorber or deodorizer for a musty closet smell is one of the most often asked questions on this blog. Musty closest needs an odor absorber, damp closet needs a moisture absorber. They are very different in use.
